The Perch P2 Camera is flexible - based on it's magnetic rack attachment style, you can mount it as normal on the rack, on the ground, on a rack adapter, on a tripod, or on a wall!
On Weight Rack
- Set your device LCD screen and magnet side at the top flush against the
bottom of the crossbeam on your weight rack. - Snap the magnets into place so the device is flush with the crossbeam.
- Plug the power adapter (wall or battery) and tablet (if wired connection)
into the ports on the side of the camera.
On Ground/Floor Orientation
- Set your device LCD screen and magnet side down against either the floor
or on a box. - Plug the power adapter (wall or battery) and tablet (if wired connection)
into the ports on the side of the camera to power on
On Tripod
- Perch P2 has a standard tripod thread system that it supports.
Perch P2 Mounting Configurations Summary:
- Primary mount: Built-in magnets attach anywhere on metal weight racks (top, sides, etc)
- Alternate mount: Optional Velcro mount via tripod thread. Can mount to rack, walls etc with this.
- Tripod: Standard tripod thread supported.
- Ground use: Can be placed on the floor, or box, or bench etc in ground mode.
- The LCD auto-rotates to stay right-side up. Rack mounted → screen up / Ground placed → screen down
